Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness Welcomes RBSD Students
It is always lovely to encounter RBSD students who have left the nest, but it is especially satisfying is to witness firsthand how well they are doing now. On October 8, former RBSD students who have found their place as professional designers—Joseph Serrani, Will Diggs, Ria Venturina, and Lilliana Vazquez—took a morning off from their busy schedules to meet with 14 current RBSD seniors and four faculty members and show them a day-in-the-life of a designer at Saatchi.
Presenters included Kathy Delaney (Global Chief Creative Officer at Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness), who shared with students the socially conscious and creative work of the wellness industry, and two recruiters who pitched a variety of upcoming openings at Saatchi and its sister companies. (Saatchi loves our students.) When students interviewed the RBSD alums, they received an encouraging takeaway: the RBSD experience had prepared the now-professional designers to compete and even excel over students from NYC design schools, because of the education and experiences they received at the RBSD. After the trip, several of our seniors expressed a newfound interest in working in the healthcare industry.
